Instructions for the application of the TIR transit system
TIR transit system was introduced in SFR Yugoslavia ratification of the Convention on the International Transport of Goods under documents for MDP (hereinafter "TIR") (Geneva, 1959), published in the "Appendix to the Official Journal of SFRY", no. 3/61.
Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under TIR, Geneva, 1975, TIR system was modernized and expanded. SFR Yugoslavia joined the new TIR Convention, so as, on September 28, 1978, deposited in the United Nations the instrument of ratification Ep br. 372 of 28 April 1977. This convention was never published in SFR Yugoslavia in the Official Journal of SFRY - International Treaties.
The application of the TIR Convention in the territory of Yugoslavia was, for well known reasons, since 1992, was suspended. Regulating the membership of Yugoslavia in the United Nations created the conditions for regulating the status of the Parties of Yugoslavia TIR Convention, which was done. ...
