ARTICLE 1 

 

Confirms the Convention on the Temporary Importation, made on June 26, 1990 in Istanbul, in the original English and French.

Text of the Convention on the Temporary Importation, originally in English and translated into the Serbian language is as follows:

Preamble 
The Parties to this Convention which drafted under the auspices of the Customs Cooperation Council, 

 

NOTING that the current situation in terms of diversity and incompleteness international Customs Convention on the Temporary Importation is not satisfactory, 

 

CONSIDERING that the situation may worsen in the future when the need arises to new forms of temporary admission offices internationally, 

 

MINDFUL of the expressed desire of representatives of trade and other stakeholders to simplify formalities that accompany temporary admission 

 

CONSIDERING that the simplification and harmonization of customs procedures, and in particular the adoption of a single international instrument that includes all the existing conventions on temporary admission, can facilitate access to international regulations governing temporary importation and effectively contribute to the development of international trade and other forms of international trade, 

 

CONVINCED that international instrument that would introduce common provisions in the field of temporary importation can substantially improve the flow of international trade and provide a greater degree of simplification and harmonization of customs procedures, which is one of the main objectives of the Customs Cooperation Council, 

 

DETERMINED to facilitate the temporary admission by simplifying and harmonizing procedures to achieve economic, humanitarian, cultural, social and tourist targets, 

 

CONSIDERING that the adoption of a standard form documents for temporary importation, as well as international customs documents with international security, facilitates the temporary importation procedure as required by the customs document and guarantee ...
